IGI Cameroon’s Capacity Development Assistance aims at supporting the Government of Cameroon towards the realization of its National Development Strategy 2020-2030
As a reliable development partner in the domain of our coverage IGI works with its government counterpart, civil society, community based organisations, religious organisations, NGOs and other development agencies to foster best practices in public service integrity, improve the functioning of state public service, support citizen education and engagement in the implementation of its current governance reforms as set out in Cameroon’s National Development Strategy-2020-2030. To accomplish this IGI mobilizes expertise and resources to support effective governance and development efforts across six (6) areas of our intervention and coverage in Cameroon.

OF THE STATE
1.Human Capital Development Initiatives (HDI) Our HDI programs work towards mobilizing, strengthening and aligning human capital to the country’s national development priorities for governance effectives, improvements in collective well-being and sustainable development.
3. Participatory Action Research. Our PAR program works towards baseline and need assessment studies to identify problematic areas in governance, public service delivery as well as development of policy briefs to inform and educate stakeholders
5. Capacity Development Assistance (Public Public Organizations, NGOs CBOs etc. Our CDA program works towards strengthening the core capacity of development actors, civil society stakeholders and public agencies working to promote peace building, social cohesion, nonviolent discipline and violent extremism prevention across our global IGI networks

2.Public Education Our PC programs contributes towards empowering Citizens to live with and Demand Integrity. While we advocate to the authorities for change, we organise collective actions and promote citizen participation in improving transparency and accountability.
4. Citizen Monitor Initiatives (CMI). Our EAJSI programs contribute towards helping ordinary citizens get quality service from public state institutions while supporting community engagement to improve governance, transparency and rule of law in society. Supporting our government counterparts with technical assistance to improve the efficient management and functioning of state public service.
6. Integrity Lectures and Dialogue (ILD) Cameroon has a vast number of young people whose education is critical to its social and economic development. Our IDL provides an environment to nurture excellence in public life and young people become the voice of morality and conscience in society.
