Public Education, Integrity Lectures and Dialogue

IGI believes moral integrity is inherently empowering and can create strong public value system to improve many different aspects of individual and collective life in society. Our role is to improve the status-quo and quality of public leadership and service so that current and future public leadership offers more reliable and more sustainable ethical pathways to materially improve the individual and social conditions in their community.
Our method of Integrity Lectures and Public Education aligns quite naturally with those who seek to acquire and exercise public duty including those who have chosen to take up elected or appointed positions in communities and public organisation in line with the framework of decentralised political governance in Cameroon. Our approach does not leave out those who lead or are involved in volunteer sector organisations, trade unions and other organisations that seek to serve public interest. Fostering strong public value through the flagship of our Integrity Lectures and Public Education actions, contributes to a greater segment of society embracing the responsibility to live and work with integrity; thereby fostering unity and collective well-being.

State Universities Transparency and Integrity Initiatives

We provide a pathway for the upcoming generation to seek to acquire public functions and duty not merely as a means to earn a living and meet their own basic needs, but also to improve the way we treat and are treated by others as well as to collectively ensure justice and fairness within the communities and institutions we all rely upon to protect us from victimization, corruption, fraud and discrimination.

Public Value Education, Just, Unified and Tolerant Society Nexus

While we see Integrity and Value system Education as an increasingly neglected approach of dealing with existing or emergent governance and social problems faced by individuals and society in recent times, IGI believes integrity and public value driven education remains critical to sustainable social, economic and political development. What makes our lectures and actions useful to the broad public service audience of Cameroon and differentiates it from many public education actions on leadership and management practices is its rigorous application of the methods of public value and integrity strengthening as a way reliable way of making communities and their public actors collectively upright, more equal and just, socially tolerant and more unified.
In 2010 IGI supported Siantou University Complex as part of Public Education and Anti-Corruption initiative in higher education sector. By strengthening the internal capacity of core members of the institutions, stakeholders were empowered to encourage transparency, defend ethics, raise levels of awareness, promote good practice and undertake early blocking measures.
